How has internet changed things?

Nature of information - The internet has made information more accessible and has provided a large vast variety of it.This means people can access information quicker and more efficiently than ever.The information you are looking for can be searched and an immediate response can be given.

Communication - The internet has made communication much less time consuming and easier with things like Skype (video conferencing).Also through the use of internet you can video conference with someone who may not be in that remote location.This means people are up to date with their family/friends lives in different parts of the world.

Community - The internet has a disadvantage on the community which is less face to face interaction happens and everything is done online.

Online Safety - Another threat from internet is that people's information can be harmed if their information is not secure.Also the internet increases the threat to be hacked and information taken without an being an authorised person.

Business - Businesses have been helped through the use of the internet as they have the largest medium which can market more people which then could improve sales of their business.Also the internet has provided websites for business that can be used for customers to order online or customer services.

Copyright - The internet has made copyright much more easier to do as work can be shared on things like social media however a law has been put it place to help defend against copyright on computer systems. The law is called copyright designs and patents act 1990.
